Ukraine– Habad Representative Attacked in Sebastopol

On 29th September 2007, the Habad Representative and rabbi of Sebastopol, Rabbi Benymin Wolf, was attacked by a gang of antisemites as he was on his way to synagogue. As Rabbi Wolf left his home for the synagogue, a bunch of hooligans jumped him, shouting curses on the Jewish people, and subjected him to a severe beating. His face was injured and he required medical treatment. The police were quickly summoned to the scene and mounted an investigation in an effort to find the perpetrators.
