USA - Menorah vandalized at Stony Point, NY

The menorah, placed in front of Town Hall, was found damaged by a police officer on regular patrol.

The metal stem of the menorah had been snapped off at its base and left there, said Supervisor Phil Marino, who saw the damage when he arrived at Town Hall.

"This is an absolute disgrace," Marino said. "I promise our Jewish brothers and sisters that it will be fixed, and the menorah will be lit before sunset tonight."
