Anti-Semitic crimes in Germany this year exceeded 700 in October, including 125 reported in Berlin, the Ministry of Interior said.
Coinciding with the release of these figures, the Central Council of Jews in Germany denounced the advance of anti-Semitism in the country, which it blamed on the politicians' negligence.
The Council's president Charlotte Knobloch said the sensitivity regarding crimes perpetrated against Jews has diminished.
