USA - Charges dropped against student in graffiti case
A judge has dismissed charges against a University of North Dakota student accused of writing a Jewish slur in ice cream on a dorm elevator.
Spencer Garness had been charged with disorderly conduct. Court records say prosecutors moved to dismiss the charges, citing a lack of evidence. Judge Sonja Clapp dismissed them.
Garness allegedly wrote "Scott is a Jew" in ice cream on a dorm elevator.
Student Scott Lebovitz said he suffered anti-Semitic attacks and taunts over several months before moving out of the dorm in April 2008
