Canada - Blacks, Jews and gays most likely victims of hate crimes: study
Blacks and Jews are most likely to be the victims of hate crimes in Canada and youth aged 12 to 17 were often the perpetrators,
according to research released by Statistics Canada.
The study, which relies mostly on research by the Canadian Centre for Justice Statistics, uses police-reported data on the race, religion and sexual orientation of victims of hate-motivated incidents, ranging from property crimes to violent crimes.

USA - Reward being offered in swastika incident
A couple weeks ago, a swastika was burned into the Newbury High School football field in Ohio.
Then, a swastika and anti-semitic words were left in a bathroom targeting a staff member. As a result, donors have given the district $800 for a reward for information leading to the suspects in the case.

Two children, aged 6 and 9 were attacked by three teenagers aged 13, 15 and 17, during a school recess in a nearby public garden. One of the victims, who is disabled, was sprayed with teargas.

USA - Vehicles vandalized with graffiti in Lindenhurst
Vandals hit a Lindenhurst neighborhood, drawing swastikas and crude pictures on eight vehicles parked along Farmers Avenue and Heathcote Road, NY.
Residents of the normally quiet block awakened to find the vandalism, which included sexually explicit drawings and phrases such as "heil Hitler" and "dead babies" written in black marker on light-colored cars, trucks and vans parked along the curb.

Venezuela - Anti-Semitism group calls for recall of Venezuelan ambassador to Russia
The Los Angeles-based Simon Wiesenthal Centre says Ambassador Alexis Navarro made anti-Semitic comments. Navarro was quoted by the daily Moscow News as saying that a failed 2002 coup that briefly ousted President Hugo Chavez involved Israeli Mossad intelligence snipers who were "Venezuelan citizens, but Jews."
The group says it wrote a letter to Venezuela's foreign minister saying the comments were "racist" and "incite violence against Jews."
A foreign ministry spokesman reached by phone said there was no immediate government response.

USA - Caught on Tape: hate crime at Beth Israel temple
A $20,000 reward was announced for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of two men who were caught on tape spray painting anti-Semitic graffiti on the Beth Israel Temple on Beverly Boulevard in Los Angeles, California.
They also sprayed graffiti on a police car.
The two suspects involved in the vandalism, which occurred several times between November and January, were described as white men between the ages of 18 and 25.

USA - Judge Declares Mistrial In Seattle Jewish Center Shooting
The judge in
the case of the Jewish Federation office shootings has declared a mistrial after the jury said they were deadlocked on all 15 charges against Naveed Haq.
The jury was deliberating whether 32-year-old Haq would go to a prison or a mental hospital. Haq pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity to murder, attempted murder and other charges.

Norway - court acquits 3 defendants accused of plotting attacks against Israeli, U.S. embassies
Arfan Qadeer Bhatti, who was charged with firing shots at a Jewish synagogue in Oslo
and planning embassy attacks, has been acquitted in Norway's first terrorism trial.
However, Bhatti was convicted of other shootings and of attempted murder.
The court viewed the synagogue shooting as an act of serious vandalism, not terrorism.

The word "no" appeared in black spray paint next to a swastika, a German eagle and the word "SS."
The graffiti, was drawn on the side of Paprika, which sells women's shoes.

Vandals desecrated 13 Jewish gravestones in Nizhny Novgorod, less than a month after a similar incident. The gravestones are located in the city's Leninsky district
; the earlier incident took place in the Marina Roscha cemetery, where nine gravestones were vandalized. Police are investigating both crimes.

4- youths returning from a Shabbaton passed by a house where a Muslim people were having a gathering. They were chased by a group of Muslim men and eventually sought refuge in a nearby house. A mailbox was pulled out of the ground and thrown at the owner of the house.
Earlier in the evening a family on their way to Shabbat dinner passed by the same house and was verbally abused.

Russia – Synagogue window frame set on fire in Dzerzhinsk
Someone painted antisemitic graffiti on the walls of a synagogue in Dzherzhinsk, Russia (Nizhny Novgorod region) before trying to burn it down. The synagogue is located in a residential building on Gastello Street. On Sunday night, someone threw a Molotov cocktail at the building's window. Luckily, the bottle did not break the glass and the fire was confined to the outside of the building. No injuries were reported. Police are investigating the incident.

The film opens with the title, “The Final Solution” in English and German and continues with the character of the actor passing through the arena of the GTA game as he cruelly murders religious and orthodox Jews.

France- violent attack against a 12 year-old boy when leaving a synagogue in Paris (75012)
Upon leaving the synagogue, a 12 year-old boy, wearing a skullcap, was attacked by two people who threw him to the ground, beat him and cursed him saying “filthy Jew, son of a b…, etc. The victim was injured and required medical treatment.

Belgium – A street performance on the occasion of “Nachba” (Catastrophe) Day with Anti-Semitic overtones.
On May 24, a street performance was staged in the town of Nivelles that showed Palestinians being chased out of their homes and taken away on trucks by Israeli soldiers. The incident was presented as an Israeli version of the Holocaust. The event was organized by Paix Juste au Proche-Orient Nivelles (The Nivelles Just Peace for the Near East) a pro-Palestinian organization
and was publicized on the official site of the Brabant Wallon Cultural Center.
At the end of the performance, speeches were made by two senior Belgian politicians, André Flahaut, a former Minister of Defense who serves at present as a Member of the Belgian Parliament and as Municipal Advisor to the city of Nivelles, and Thérése Snoy, a Member of the Belgian Parliament for the Green Party. The speakers compared Israeli actions in the Occupied Territories to those of the Nazis during the Holocaust.
