New Zealand - Jewish graves desecrated
Karori Cemetery was the target in an attack. Six graves were desecrated - some with stencils and some in freehand - and all in vivid blue paint.
Together with the usual anti-Semitic phrases such as "Hitler RIP," "Rot you filth" and "Juden swine," the vandals wrote phrases such as "Terror State Israel Burn," "Schouten - Rotem is ZIONIST PIG" and "DE BRES YOU SWINE – OUT." leaving no doubt that the perpetrators' ire had been set off by Hank Schouten's front-page article about new, Australia-based Israeli Ambassador Yuval Rotem under the banner headline "I need a Maori."

Australia - Orthodox Jewish assaulted
Three Orthodox Jewish males were leaving a bar in Sydney's city on Saturday night. They were approached by a group of males who spat on them and shouted insults including "filthy Jews" and threats such as "I'll put a bullet through your chest you fucking Jew". One boy was punched in the head during the incident.

Australia - Nazi sympathisers host US band Final War
The Melbourne Knights Soccer Club yesterday launched an extraordinary attack on its social arm, the Croatia Social Club, for hosting the October 13 concert by groups that incite violence and attacks against Jews and other minorities.
"I am deeply disturbed that the good reputation of our football club has been tarnished by the social club's incompetence," Knights chairman Matt Tomas said.
The concert at the Knights' North Sunshine complex was headlined by US neo-Nazi band Final War.
The band describes itself as "defenders of the Reich", and its songs boast: "We fight Jews".
Australian skinhead band Fortress also played.
Its song, Parasites, urges repatriation of immigrants: "If they don't f..king like it, it'll be in body bags".
The concert was organised by the Australian chapters of neo-Nazi skinhead groups Blood and Honour and Southern Cross Hammer Skins.
Group members in the US and Europe have been convicted of assaults, bombings and murders.
Anti-Semitic messages from the Knights' Croatian fans are posted on the Knights Army Forum website.
One posting says Jews would "sell their mothers for a dollar". 'Are you a dirty Jew?'

Australia - Orthodox teens assaulted in Australia
Police are investigating an anti-Semitic assault on two Orthodox Jewish teenagers in Melbourne, Australia.
The incident took place Monday night in the heart of Balaclava, a heavily populated Jewish neighborhood.
According to police, the teens were set upon by two men who hurled anti-Semitic abuse at them. One of the victims suffered a slight head injury but did not require hospitalization.

Australia - Anti-Semitic attack at golf
Jewish golfers are outraged at vandals who carved a large swastika and KKK into the green of a historic Jewish golf club.
The anti-Semitic attack destroyed parts of the Cranbourne Golf Club's fourth green on the first night of the Jewish New Year.
The club was founded by Jewish golfers in 1954 after they were excluded from other golf clubs, and general manager Sean Constable said members were distressed by the latest attack.
"It certainly upset some of our members, but hopefully it was just local kids who have nothing better to do," he said.

Australia– Drive-By Harassment of Habad Worshippers in Melbourne
On Saturday, 14th September 2007, a group of cars passed near the Habad House and Yeshiva in Melbourne shouting epithets over loud speakers. Several of the worshippers tried to run after the car, but it got away. Some time later, ruffians returned. This time they tossed eggs at the building in addition to shouting epithets.

New Zealand - New Zealand firm pulls Hitler pizza ads
A New Zealand ad campaign showing Adolf Hitler clutching a piece of pizza in a Nazi salute has been withdrawn after complaints from the public.
The billboards advertising the Hell Pizza chain were part of a series showing famous people from history.
The image along with a quote from the Nazi leader -- "It is possible to make people believe that heaven is hell" - was used on billboards in four of New Zealand’s main cities.

Australia - Students assaulted in racist attack
Ephraim Manshari, a Year 11 student at Yeshivah College, was finishing his shift at Glick’s burger bar on Carlisle Street around 11.15pm when two Caucasian males approached the store from the west as they reportedly shouted “White pride” at Ephraim and six female customers, all in their teens.
“They asked if I wanted a fight," Ephraim recalled, "but I just said, 'I'm not interested, I'm going inside'".
The perpetrator, believed to be in his 20s, then punched another student, who is visiting from Israel, in the face, before taking a cafe chair and smashing a 40-centimetre hole in the shop window, before fleeing on foot with his accomplice, also in his 20s.
Several members of the Community Security Group, who were dining in Glick’s pizza restaurant two doors down, pursued the two men several hundred metres down Carlisle Street, before they got away.
Police arrived a short time later, but left the scene after taking witness statements.
Around 45 minutes later, the two men returned armed with baseball bats and confronted Yeshivah student Alon Tam, who was walking home from Glick’s around 150 metres towards Hotham Street.
Alon, 17, was hit with a bat on the upper-left side of his body, both arms and his right shoulder.
The police were called back and extended their search for the suspects, including dispatching a police helicopter.
He said he had been the victim of antisemitic abuse in the past, but that this was the most serious incident to date.
“I’ve been called a fucing Jew, a bloody Jew on public transport, but I didn’t report it. But I realise now if I don’t report it [the incidents], it doesn’t get out there.”

Australia - Qantas probes Antisemitic slurs
Qantas flight attendant allegedly made anti-semitic remarks to a Jewish passenger traveling in first class.
David Moses, 35, has lodged a formal complaint with the airline alleging the woman repeatedly made derogatory comments about Jews, even after discovering he was Jewish.
He described how the flight attendant complained to him about an elderly French passenger who became agitated about confirming a wheelchair for her husband on arrival.
Mr Moses said the attendant turned to him and said, "Jews".
When he asked her what she meant, she allegedly replied, "That's what you get when you deal with Jews."
"I was so taken aback that I didn't know what to say," Mr Moses said. "The stewardess then said something like: 'I'll tell you who the worst, South African Jews are'."
Now he wants the airline to investigate and ensure the flight attendant receives appropriate cultural awareness counselling.
Lesley Grant, Qantas group general manager for customer products and services, said the airline was "conducting a thorough investigation into the incident".

Australia - Cricket club acts against racism
McKinnon Cricket Club has suspended players it suspects may have been involved in posting antisemitic comments directed towards the Maccabi AJAX Cricket Club on an internet site.
Players from both McKinnon and Beaumaris cricket clubs posted several remarks on a page of the social networking site Facebook, called "FU AJAX Cricket Club".
The pages were removed from the website just as cricket officials and media outlets became aware of their existence. It remains unclear who was responsible for closing down the pages.
McKinnon Cricket Club president, Stuart Hampstead, distanced the club from the remarks posted by some of its members and confirmed that there would be a full investigation.
“Any remarks made in no way represent the views or opinions of the McKinnon Cricket Club,” Hampstead said in a statement.
Hampstead said that club will stamp down heavily on those involved, including possibly issuing life bans.
Beaumaris Cricket Club member Alex Strauch was one of the contributors to the Facebook page. His post said: "Being of German heritage, I think I need to apologise for ACC to still be in existence, my grandparents tried to get them all... but it's easier said than done when they are walking around in the sewers looking for change..."
Maccabi AJAX president Jamie Hyams said he was disgusted by the attack on his club. "This is the sort of thing you would expect to find on the most extreme Neo-Nazi website, not from a bunch of guys you play cricket against each year," he said.
