Poland - strongly condemned this conference
The Polish Government strongly condemned this conference, which represents the antithesis of the idea of preserving the memory of the Holocaust on which the United Nations resolution is based. In addition, it expressed concern at the possibility that the conference would be exploited in order to deny the Holocaust, which is a cause of particular concern for Poland in which six million Poles were the victims of Nazi genocide, adding that Poland would react strongly to any such attempt.
