USA – all condemning the Uria Ohana attack

The Uria Ohana attack is still on all headlines in New York: on Thursday, a large press conference was held in the Brooklyn Borough Hall building attended by borough president, Marti Markowitz, politicians from the different religions and representatives of the human rights organizations.

Journalists from the main media in New York were present in the event that lasted for over an hour in which they vigorously protested the event and have committed to continue and act to prevent such phenomenon, which seem to only spread and expand.

Uria Ohana was attacked in a Brooklyn subway station by a group of Arabic speaking youngsters who took his skullcap and even beat him in several parts of the body.

The incident was covered by dozens of media stations all over the United States and the public echo did made its affect leading to the largest press conference ever organized by the Brooklyn borough council.
