France – Kémi Séba received a suspended prison sentence of four months
Kémi Séba, the founder of the Tribu Ka organization, an organization of radical black Anti-Semites that was outlawed in July 2006 by Presidential Edict, received a suspended sentence of four months in prison for incitement to racism. In October 2006, Kémi Séba, whose real name is Stellio Capochichi, referred on his internet website, canalblog.com, to the Jewish Student Organization of France (UEJF) and the SOS Racisme Organization as – "agents", "garbage" and "Zionists" and called France a "concentration camp that strangles the ethnic pride of all the people". In the trial, which was held in September, the Prosecutor, Beatrice Bossard, claimed that the accused should be convicted of "Anti-Semitism disguised as Anti-Zionism" and that he should receive especially severe punishment.
The judge wrote in his verdict that Kémi Séba had "targeted the Jewish Community and not the Zionist Movement as he had claimed."
