France - Leader of Black anti-Semitic group arrested in France
Kemi Seba, founder of a French black radical and anti-Semitic group calling itself “Tribu Ka”, has been arrested Thursday night by French police in Chartes, in central France, for making racist comments and rebellion against policemen.
The group was banned in July 2006 by the French government and its website was later shut down after its members descended on a Paris Jewish quarter, wielding baseball bats and shouting anti-Semitic slogans.
More than 20 members of the group walked up and down the crowded Rue des Rosiers, performing Nazi salutes, looking for a fight with the neighbourhood’s Jews, threatening and intimidating them.

Australia - Group must remove antisemitic material
The leader of a NSW-based group known as the Bible Believers' Church has been ordered to remove material from his website denying the Holocaust. The Federal Court has found that Anthony Grigor-Scott, whose church is based at Tamworth in NSW, was in breach of the Racial Discrimination Act in posting antisemitic material on a website newsletter. The complaint was brought by the Executive Council of Australian Jewry (ECAJ) when the material first appeared in 2005. The judge ordered Grigor-Scott to remove claims Jewish people deliberately exaggerated the number of Jews killed during World War II for improper purposes, including financial gain. He also ordered the removal of material denying the existence of gas chambers in the German concentration camp in Auschwitz and ruled that Grigor-Scott should be restrained from publishing similar material in the future.

Italy– "No to Antisemitism and Anti-Zionism"
In an address before hundreds of students in Rome on the occasion of Italian Memorial Day, Italian President Giorgio Napolitano also spoke of antisemitism. He said: "No to antisemitism, even when it masquerades as anti-Zionism". Napolitano went on to say, "Antisemitism means the denial of the basis of the inspiration of the Jewish State and the reasons for its establishment and its need for security today, having nothing to do with which government is leading Israel".
"The tragedy of the Holocaust reminds us all of the need to combat every kind of racism and discrimination", Napolitano said. "As Italians, we must retain and feel the weight of the dark years when Fascist and racist laws were enforced and Jews were persecuted", he added. "The light must emanate from the deeds of those who behaved justly, from those who are worthy of being called [just] because of the things they did, often while endangering their lives, acts of solidarity with their Jewish brothers who were persecuted, who were faced with threats exile, torture and extermination camps".

Czech - Czech P.M.: Anti-Semitism behind anti-Israel sentiment
The Czech prime minister blamed anti-Semitism for pervasive hostility to Israel in Europe.
“It is a shame for the old continent that so many of its inhabitants are thinking this way, 60 years after their ancestors allowed the Holocaust,” Mirek Topolanek said at a parliamentary Holocaust commemoration ceremony Friday. He accused Europeans of pandering to Arabs and Muslims. “We try to honor foreign cultures that often are hostile toward us, regardless of the aid we offer to them,” he said. “And we don’t have enough room in our hearts for our brothers whose terrible suffering we allowed.”

Italy – Legislation Against Holocaust Denial
The government of Italian Prime Minister Romano Prodi on Thursday unanimously approved new anti-racism legislation that, among other things, makes denial of the Nazi Holocaust against the Jews a crime punishable by up to four years in prison. The bill, which will now be brought before parliament for final approval, brings Italy's official position on Holocaust denial in line with other European powers such as Germany, France, Spain and Austria.
In a Memorial Day speech to students in Rome, Italian President Giorgio Napolitano noted that antisemitism today often takes the form or anti-Zionism or irrational criticism of Israel. "Antisemitism means denying the base on which the Jewish country is built, the reason for its establishment, and its need for security even today, regardless of which government is currently leading Israel," said Napolitano.

The United States presented a resolution condemning Holocaust denial to the United Nations General Assembly.
The text, introduced Tuesday in advance of the UN-designated International Day of Commemoration for victims of the Holocaust on Jan. 27, urges member states "to reject any denial of the Holocaust as a historical event" and "condemns without reservation any denial of the Holocaust."
Though it does not mention Iran, the measure is seen as a reaction to last month's Holocaust denial conference hosted by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in Tehran.
